Hi ! Here is a special cover recently issued by Uttrakhand Postal Circle commemorating Spring Festival of Dehradun.The cover design features a very important medicinal plant Gentiana kurroora. The root of this plant is widely used in preparation of a variety of medicines for liver disorder,stomach aches, diabetes, renal trouble etc. I want to mention here that this plant is also found in some parts of Kullu district My thanks to Mr Abhai Mishra of Dehradun for today’s Post.
